PoseDepose app for iPhone and iPad

The purpose of the application is to allow the employees of the Hydro-Québec electricity company and the citizens of the province of Quebec in Canada to take pictures of the nameplates of the electricity poles.

Scientists from the artificial intelligence community will get a bank of nameplate images to produce a recognition model for these plates
The public will contribute to the data to develop a pole plate recognition tool that produces less seizure error and thus reduce network maintenance costs. This reduction in maintenance costs avoids the increase in electricity rates for all.
